Job summary

Trinity Health’s FirstChoice nursing program in Silver Spring, MD seeks experienced part-time RNs to float across hospital locations and regions, delivering safe patient care with autonomy and teamwork.

The role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, travel and per diem opportunities, and a path to ongoing learning within a large faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18+ months recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU; 2+ years for other specialties.
• Required credentials per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital/regions, and across locations.
• Apply professional practice: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.

What you will do:

• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Pay Range: $59.00 - $67.00 (based on assignment option and shift). Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
