Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking an experienced RN for part-time, night shift assignments through its mobile staffing program. RNs may float across hospital locations and regions to fill short and long-term needs within the system.

Qualified candidates will have an RN license in the applicable state(s) and meet specialty credential requirements (ACLS/TNCC/PALS). DailyPay and licensing reimbursements are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Credentials required per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS must be through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital locations and regions as needed.
• Follow professional practice elements: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope, and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Be adaptable to take on new responsibilities and differing priorities.
• Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions


• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice: Assess, Outcomes Identification / Solutions, Plan, Implement, Evaluate


• Acts independently & appropriately within license, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area


• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes


• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.


• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.


• Minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.


• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.


• Required to have and maintain the credentials required per their specialty area (ex: ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association

** Only for nurses coming to Michigan from out of state, over 60 miles from home to hospital. You cannot work in the same metropolitan area greater than 12 months in order to receive this rate. **
