Job summary

Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Mishawaka seeks experienced registered nurses for FirstChoice mobile staffing with premium pay and flexible scheduling. Nurses float across hospital locations and regions, maintaining licensure and relying on evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.

Flexible shifts, DailyPay, and opportunities to travel within local/regional regions are available, with reimbursement for licenses and certifications for each assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including CC, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health.
• Credentials required per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or across locations/regions.
• Apply standard nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
