Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care on a flexible, self-directed schedule across Iowa. Pick up shifts near home or travel to various facilities, enabling you to stay close to home or explore facilities throughout Iowa.

You’ll lead clinical care on your assigned shift and coordinate with staff to ensure quality outcomes. The role offers the ability to choose location and schedule, with full-time, part-time, or PRN options.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Iowa RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in resident condition.
• Supervising CNAs, CMAs/QMAs, and other assigned nursing staff.
• Communicating with physicians, families, and facility leadership.
• Supporting admissions, transfers, wound care, and emergency response.
• Ensuring care is delivered safely and according to resident care plans.

What You’ll Do
