Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a PCU/critical care-adjacent unit, monitoring evolving conditions and adjusting care as ordered
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and interpret clinical data to guide patient care plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, patient/family education, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Ensure safety and quality of care by following evidence‑based practices and adhering to applicable professional standards and unit protocols
• Uphold professional practice standards in line with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the ANA Code of Ethics
