Overview

Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) in Concord, Massachusetts. This is a travel assignment starting November 17, 2026, for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,312 to $2,473, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, typically 3 per week (3x12s), with a day schedule that may run 7:00am to 7:30pm. The position is in an acute-care hospital setting. Travel experience is required, and active MA RN licensure plus BLS are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and anesthesia-related parameters; assist the anesthesia team as needed
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrument handling, and support room setup and turnover between cases
• Position patients safely, assist with transfers, and support the PACU handoff and recovery process
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the surgical team; adhere to safety, infection control, and unit policies
• Participate in call rotation as assigned, with baseline expectations including approximately one call day every other week and about one weekend per month (24 hours)

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• BLS certification
• OR nursing experience (travel experience strongly preferred)
• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in call rotation
• Ability to work in a high-acuity operative setting and to follow perioperative protocols
