Responsibilities

• Assess, implement or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care
• Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients
• Relate effectively with other shifts/departments for continuity of care
• Provide clinical supervision for entry-level nurses and assist in their development
• Develop, implement and evaluate the nursing plan of care
• Manage both emotional and physical needs of patients
• Assess patient and family understanding to provide effective communication and education
• Work collaboratively with medical staff
• Provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN (Certified Labor & Delivery RN)
