Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel ICU/Home Health assignment in Moses Lake, WA. The RN will provide advanced nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and supervise other caregivers in a home health setting.

The role requires WA RN license, BLS, and experience in ICU or acute care; multiple certifications are preferred. Travel and night shifts are part of the package, with a 13-week contract and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• WA RN license is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ICU experience preferred; acute care RN experience preferred for specialty units.
• ACLS within 6 months; PALS within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months; PEARS within 12 months; RN-C preferred.
• Ability to work in a home healthcare travel setting and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to home health patients using the Nursing Process.
• Document patient data in EMR or paper records.
• Identify learning needs of patients and provide education per care plans.
• Delegate and supervise care activities; function as care manager for safe delivery.
• May serve as Charge Nurse; coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers; arrange staff coverage.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment standards; communicate professionally.

Start date: 09/28/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,132-$2,224 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights.

This travel assignment involves providing advanced nursing care in a home health setting, performing as both caregiver and care manager. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process, while coordinating and supervising care by other caregivers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned home health patients, applying assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Document patient data in EMR or paper records per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Identify learning needs of patients/significant others and provide education aligned with policies and care plans.
• Delegate and supervise care activities for assigned team members; function as a care manager to ensure safe, effective care delivery.
• May serve as Charge Nurse, including coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers; arranging staff coverage; problem-solving; and leading unit efforts.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and equipment standards; communicate professionally with patients, families, and the care team; uphold organizational standards in appearance and conduct.

Requirements

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification within 30 days of hire (AHA or equivalent).
• ICU experience preferred; acute care RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments; minimum of one year RN experience preferred for specialty units.
• Certifications: ACLS within 6 months of hire; PALS within 12 months; TNCC within 12 months; PEARS within 12 months; Moderate sedation training within 12 months; RN-C preferred.
• Ability to work in a home healthcare travel setting and travel as required by the assignment.
