American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ER Holding position in Ohio, requiring an active OH or compact RN license and strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ER Holding unit caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Typical patient ratios are 1:4
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30
• Care involves telemetry and dysrhythmia management, PCU/Stepdown level care, and management of complex cases including cardiac and renal failure
• Utilizes Epic for documentation
• Responsibilities include tracheostomy care, rapid response team utilization, wound care including wound vacs, non-invasive airway management, and IV insulin/heparin protocols
• Must be prepared to complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing
• Former employees may apply if they have been away from any Ohio State University hospital for at least 6 months
