Qualifications

• Active Montana RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices and monitor patient response.
• Coordinate follow-up care and maintain device clinic records.
• Perform diagnostic tests including EKGs, Holter, and Zio data processing.
• Coordinate procedures related to cardiac device implants with radiology, surgical, and anesthesia teams.
• Educate patients and families about device care and arrhythmia management.
• Participate in quality improvement and regulatory initiatives.

Overview Registered Nurse - Pacemaker Electrophysiology in a hospital setting in Bozeman, MT. Travel assignment starting 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Weekly pay range: $2,566-$2,704 per week.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate cardiac implantable electronic devices, monitor patient response to device therapy, adjust settings per provider orders, and manage remote monitoring
• Arrange and coordinate follow-up care for patients in the Device Clinic; maintain device clinic databases and patient records
• Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as ordered, including electrocardiograms (EKGs), event monitors, Holter, and Zio Patch data processing
• Coordinate surgical and procedural interventions related to cardiac implantable devices; collaborate with radiology, surgical, and anesthesia teams
• Educate patients and families regarding device care, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology-related procedures, including ablation therapy
• Participate in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and departmental initiatives to support safe, effective patient care

Requirements

• Active Montana RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) certification
• Minimum 1 year of registered nursing experience
• Experience with cardiac implantable devices (pacemakers and ICDs) and familiarity with major device platforms (Biotronik, Medtronic, Abbott, Boston Scientific); knowledge of ECG interpretation
