Job summary

USA DeBusk seeks a Yard Technician to safely move tractor trailers within the yard and operate pneumatic and vacuum loading systems to transfer bulk materials from silos and railcars. The role supports product flow while meeting safety and environmental standards and may involve travel to other locations with company-paid expenses and travel bonuses.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, connecting hoses, monitoring pressure, and documenting loads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience operating tractor trailers or yard trucks preferred.
• Experience with pneumatic or vacuum bulk transfer systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard tractors and maneuver tractor trailers safely within the facility.
• Perform pneumatic loading and unloading of bulk materials from silos into trailers.
• Conduct vacuum loading operations from railcars and other bulk storage units.
• Inspect trailers, hoses, fittings, and loading equipment prior to use.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, pipes, and fittings for product transfer.
• Monitor pressure levels, flow rates, and system performance during loading/unloading.
• Follow all lockout/tagout and confined space procedures when applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard, equipment, and work areas to prevent contamination and hazards.
• Complete required documentation, load tickets, and inspection logs accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, rail crews, and other team members.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
• Travel to other job sites or terminals as needed to support operational demands.
