Job summary

Velocity is seeking a Field Technician to install, service, and maintain telecommunications equipment at customer locations across the United States. The role requires heavy travel (up to 95%) and the ability to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.

You will coordinate with Velocity support groups and customer sites to ensure satisfaction and adherence to standards. The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of steady work experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years steady work experience.
• Valid driver's license and able to be insured.
• Willingness to travel 95% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install/service equipment at customer locations across US.
• Work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
• Ensure job site operates to Velocity and customer standards.
• Communicate status of work orders in clear English.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose managed devices.
• Repair, maintain, and install telecommunications infrastructure.
• Manage helper technicians and ensure processes are followed.
• Display professional presentation at customer sites.
• Complete administrative tasks such as timesheets and expense reports.
