Job summary
Wyetech, LLC is seeking a System Engineer Level 1 (SE1), Site Engineer, to support maintenance and modernization of front-end systems across multiple customer sites. You will ensure systems are functional and responsive while aiding remote refresh efforts and coordinating with partner teams.
The role requires strong Linux/UNIX administration, telecom technologies, and a willingness to travel annually to customer sites.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Linux operating systems and command-line usage.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX system administration and network administration and maintenance.
- Experience with modern telecommunications technologies.
- Basic troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting maintenance, configuration, and upgrades of operational systems.
- Experience with systems administration and software loading/configuration.
- Experience with network configuration and maintenance.
- Ability to manage and validate system requirements and components.
- Ability to interact with partner entities, customers, and teams.
- Willingness to travel annually to multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage system requirements and validate component functionality.
- Interact with partner entities and stakeholders daily.
- Support systems administration, troubleshooting, and network configuration across sites.
- Coordinate DoDAF/SOA-aligned system design and verification.
- Contribute to engineering documentation and reviews.
- Support DoD- and SOA-based architectures.
