Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is seeking an RN to provide care in a 36-hour weekly PRN schedule. The role emphasizes critical thinking, documentation, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical thinking skills appropriate to patient’s level of care.
• Collects and documents patient health data systematically and timely.
• Conducts assessments and develops individualized care plans.
• Implements interventions safely and documents actions taken.
• Collaborates for timely patient placement and transfers.
