Job summary

Passion Dental seeks a Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our expanding team across multiple locations. You will support oral surgeons, assist with extractions, implants, and grafts, and help maintain sterile surgical environments while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires traveling between offices, strong clinical skills, and a patient-first mindset to ensure smooth procedures and positive patient experiences at every site.

Qualifications

• DAANC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Oral Surgery Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Current radiology certification required or ability to obtain as required by state regulations
• Knowledge of oral surgery procedures, instruments, aseptic techniques, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to travel regularly between multiple practice locations

Responsibilities

• Travel between assigned practice locations to support oral surgery procedures and patient care
• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgery treatments
• Prepare and disinfect treatment and surgical rooms before and after procedures
• Ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterilized and maintained per OSHA standards
• Take and process dental radiographs and CBCT scans as permitted by state regulations
• Monitor and support patients throughout surgical procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation
