Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Field Trainer, Support Specialist to travel across Northeast Fleet Maintenance Facilities providing hands-on, remote and guided diagnostic training to help shops excel.

The role includes training on equipment, administration tasks, new hire onboarding and supporting technicians with complex diagnostic repairs. The candidate should have 5+ years in fleet maintenance, strong knowledge of Class 8 tractors, DOT/OSHA guidelines, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of class 8 tractor and trailer maintenance and DOT/OSHA guidelines.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to use diagnostic software.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time to various fleet shops.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to Fleet Maintenance Facilities to provide maintenance support and training.
• Conducting and surveying training sessions to ensure material retention.
• Creating metrics to measure training impact and retention.
• Providing New Hire training on policies, procedures and fleet maintenance software.
• Reviewing daily OOS issues and providing technical assistance.
• Reviewing progress of apprentices and conducting final skills tests.
• Assisting with shop vacancies and providing operations support.
