Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Quality professional to report to the Project Management Team and oversee quality performance across projects. You will manage quality assurance/control activities, communicate status to management, and coordinate with customers, vendors and subcontractors.

The role requires an engineering or science degree (or technical college) with some construction field experience, strong writing skills, and proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

  • Requires engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years of related construction field experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey status of quality clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; ability to learn other software.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients.
  • Inspect field conditions; identify problems and cost-saving measures; implement corrective actions.
  • Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions to minimize risk.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization.
  • Manage Welding Procedure Specifications logs for districts.
  • Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
