Job summary

Community Health Alliance seeks a full-time Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative dental operations in Reno and surrounding area. You will assist dentists and hygienists with diagnostic, preventive, restorative, and surgical procedures while helping maintain smooth patient flow and front desk duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited dental assisting program or 1 year chairside experience, and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or 1 year chairside experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Proficiency with dental software, digital X-ray systems, and general office technology.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Calm, professional demeanor in fast-paced clinical environments.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and dental hygienists with diagnostic, preventive, restorative and surgical procedures.
• Support front desk operations and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Ensure infection control, sterilization, and equipment readiness.
• Utilize dental software and digital X-ray systems to document care and manage records.
