Job summary

United Uptime Services in the DFW area is seeking a Light Duty Construction Technician to support fueling system installations, tank and fuel dispenser work, and site concrete tasks. The role requires safety-compliant execution and the ability to travel to out-of-town sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to pass background checks and drug testing. CDL is preferred, with training offered for the right person.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel occasionally and work out of town, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• CDL preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in construction work and heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work on construction projects, concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements.
• Framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing small portions of concrete.
• Operate company work truck, skid steers, forklift, and man-lift per safety protocols.
• Ensure safe housekeeping and daily job cleanup.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
• Verify accuracy and compliance with codes, specs, and manufacturer requirements.
• Foster professional relationships across peers, teams, clients, and supervisors.
