Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for a travel job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Position Overview

This role involves providing medical nutrition therapy to adult patients in both acute care and progressive care settings at a Level I Trauma Center. The Dietitian will manage nutrition support, including enteral nutrition (EN) and parenteral nutrition (PN), tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to patients across various disease states.
• Manage nutrition support including customized parenteral nutrition, focusing on macro and micronutrient management.
• Engage in plan of care rounds with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide dietary education and counseling to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an intensive care unit (ICU) and nutrition support.
• Experience with customized parenteral nutrition, including macronutrient and micronutrient management.
• Registered Dietitian status required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.

• Daily Case Load: 6-10 patients.
• Scheduled shifts: Day shifts, Monday through Friday (5x8-hour shifts).
• Parking available at no cost.
• No local candidates will be considered within a 100-mile radius.
• Pending state license is accepted.
• Greater than 7 days of requested time off requires approval.
