Cross Country Allied seeks a travel RDN in Davenport, Iowa to provide medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education. The role is 40 hours per week in days, with a 13-week assignment and travel-related duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Food and Nutrition required.
• Current state licensure or certification if required.
• Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR).
• One year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform nutrition assessments and re-assessments, set nutrition goals, and monitor patient progress.
• Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens with pharmacy and medical staff.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and staff.
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in department improvement programs.
• Collaborate with food service staff for proper meal planning and menu review.
• Educate staff on nutrition care plans and standards of quality.
