Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. The role requires completing a two-year Radiologic Technology program, state registration, and ARRT certification, with preferred two years of X-Ray Tech experience, especially in critical care.

You'll work 40 hours per week on day shifts, travel reimbursement provided, and benefits include health, life and disability insurance, housing options, and 401(k) matching

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prep patient for diagnostic imaging exam.
• Produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
• Instruct patients to obtain appropriate positions to get accurate images.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Works to maintain an environment of excellence, patient focused with timely, compassionate care.
• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment for staff and customers.
