Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a part-time, weekends-only evening contract requiring 2+ years of experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Radiology department treating outpatients, inpatients, and emergency room patients
• Part-time contract, 24 hours per week, weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
• 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• 3 days of weekday orientation (approximately 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM) prior to starting weekend schedule
• Works independently and alongside 1-2 other technologists per shift
• No floating, on-call, or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 4+ years preferred
• New graduates not accepted
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross only)
• IEMA license required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens X-ray equipment and GE and Carestream portable machines required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active state license and certifications required; pending credentials not accepted
• Prior travel assignment experience required, with a minimum of 1 completed travel contract
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently

Additional Information

• Perform X-ray imaging for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency room patients
• Must complete a Relias EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to submission
• Required to pass an on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from employment for at least 12 months before being considered as a traveler
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate within a 50-mile radius
• RTO maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts
