Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a General Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Washington state. The role requires ARRT certification, WA license if applicable, BLS, and recent C-arm/OR experience with Shimadzu portable equipment.

Epic EMR knowledge is required, with shifts 3x12 hours Fri-Sun. Responsibilities include performing x-ray exams across routine, fluoroscopy, OR, and portable studies, training student technologists, and ensuring ALARA compliance.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• Washington State license as a registered radiologic technologist in X-Ray required
• BLS certification required
• Recent Shimadzu portable equipment and C-arm/OR procedures experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging department performing x-ray examinations including routine, fluoroscopy, operating room, and portable studies
• Uses Shimadzu portable and Rad Speed Pro C-arm equipment
• Utilizes PACS, RIS, and Epic EMR
• Evening/night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week, Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM-11:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Prepare for and perform x-ray examinations including routine, fluoroscopy, operating room, and portable studies
• Review and evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality
• Assist radiologists with fluoroscopic procedures and may perform minor fluoroscopic procedures under direction per certification scope
• Provide direct training and supervision to student technologists alongside the clinical instructor
• Complete required documentation for each examination using PACS, RIS, and current EMR
• Transfer and lift patients safely using ergonomic techniques and safe patient handling devices such as hydraulic lifts
• Communicate with patients' family members or caregivers as needed
• Apply knowledge of ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely principles
