Job summary
Medasource is seeking a Travel X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bloomington, Indiana. The role requires ARRT certification, Indiana licensure, and at least 2 years of acute care X-ray experience.
Responsibilities include performing routine and portable radiography, ensuring image quality, and maintaining ALARA safety standards. Ideal candidates will possess experience with Cerner EMR/PACS and be comfortable in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- Indiana Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility).
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital X-ray experience.
- Experience performing portable radiography and trauma imaging.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and portable diagnostic X-ray examinations per orders and protocols.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate digital radiography and portable X-ray equipment.
- Maintain ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Image Emergency Department, inpatient, outpatient, ICU, and surgical patients.
