Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in radiology settings.
• Valid license or registration as required by the state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from AHA is recommended or required.
• ARRT or ARDMS credentials per discipline are required.
• Specialty-related certifications are preferred or may be required.
• Professional references are required.

Responsibilities

• Take images of patients using MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare patients for tests and explain procedures to help them feel at ease.
• Work under supervision of a physician in hospitals, clinics, health centers, or medical labs.
