Job summary

TotalMed Allied has an opening for a travel Radiology Technologist in Jeffersonville, Indiana. This 14-week assignment requires 40 hours per week with 10-hour daytime shifts.

The Rad Tech must have 1 year of radiology experience and ARRT(R) certification with BLS, plus any applicable state licensing. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and prepare results for physicians.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS required.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain imaging procedures.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment.
• Protect against unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physicians and maintain patient records and use PACS.
