Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT (R) certification and 1+ years of experience. The facility is a 185-bed hospital with a 7 full-time and 5 PRN technologists team, and the traveler will work night shifts.

Responsibilities include radiology and fluoroscopy imaging across OR/ER/outpatient/inpatient settings with a high emphasis on quality imaging, while adhering to call rotation and holidays.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required, with 2+ years experience and OR experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role being applied for
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and fluoroscopy imaging across OR, ER, outpatient, and inpatient settings
• Ideal candidate is self-motivated, patient-focused, detail-oriented, and produces high‑quality imaging
• Scrub color/attire is grey or pewter
• Must be willing to participate in call rotation with full‑time staff
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius of the facility
