Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Rad Tech will perform diagnostic imaging, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation. Requires ARRT(R), BLS, and state licensure if needed.

Position is 10-hour shifts, 40 hours/week, with travel accommodations. Travel experience preferred; compensation includes tax-free stipends and weekly pay depending on assignment details. TotalMed Allied ID #1515306.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and licensure requirements may apply per state

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to the correct position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by using proper protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
