TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in McAllen, Texas. The Rad Tech will work 40 hours per week, evenings, on-site, with responsibilities including patient positioning, imaging, and safety precautions.

Requirements include ARRT (R), BLS, and state licensing as applicable, with at least 1 year of experience. Travel travel-specific compensation and stipends subject to confirmation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology experience required.
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS required; state license if applicable.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Verify patient identification and explain imaging procedures.
• Follow physician orders for imaging areas to be scanned.
• Properly position patients and operate imaging equipment.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection.
• Calibrate equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use McKesson PACS.
