American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky. The role requires ARRT(R) certification and 2+ years of general radiology experience, with BLS and KY state licensure as applicable.

The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, primarily evenings, in a radiology department setting. The team will follow 8-hour shifts, supporting imaging procedures and safety practices across patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years general radiology experience.
• ARRT(R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• KY state Radiology Tech license required (license after offer possible).
• Thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Skilled in imaging technique, infection control, and quality control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images meeting department and industry standards.
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures, addressing questions and concerns.
• Apply age-appropriate communication and patient education approaches.
• Apply radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Oversee and train students in patient care, treatment, and services.
