Job summary

Trailblazer Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Chillicothe, Ohio. The role requires operating diagnostic X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include imaging across general, orthopedic, trauma, and emergency cases, using DR/CR systems and PACS, and maintaining records. ARRT, BLS, and state licensure are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (R).
• Active state radiologic technologist license or state permit where applicable.
• Current CPR / BLS certification is required.
• Proficient with digital radiography, C-arm OR equipment, and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including general, orthopedic, trauma, and emergency imaging per physician orders.
• Position patients accurately and use ALARA principles for safe, low-dose imaging.
• Operate portable/mobile X-ray units and C-arms in various hospital settings as needed.
• Prepare and transmit digital images via PACS/RIS and maintain medical records.
• Explain procedures clearly and maintain a compassionate clinical environment.
• Conduct routine quality checks and follow infection control standards.
