Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Aberdeen, WA. The role requires 1 year of radiology experience, BLS, ARRT(R) certification, and state licensing as needed. You will perform patient imaging, ensure safety, and document results while coordinating with physicians.

This travel position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a rotating schedule. Benefits include weekly pay and medical coverage through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology experience required.
• BLS and ARRT (R) National Certification required.
• State licensing when required.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures and obtain patient consent where needed.
• Position patient and adjust imaging equipment for correct images.
• Apply radiation protection to minimize exposure for patient and staff.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and verify image quality.
• Prepare radiology results for review by physician.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize the McKesson PACS system for image management.
