TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Presque Isle, ME. The position requires 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and state licensing as needed. Travel, 40 hours per week, 8-hour rotating shifts.

The role involves image acquisition, patient care, and strict radiation safety practices. Immediate start for a 13-week assignment with a tax-free stipend and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of radiology experience.
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required; state licensing as needed.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain imaging procedures and provide reassurance to patients.
• Position the patient and adjust imaging equipment correctly.
• Protect patient and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system.
