Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Leominster, Massachusetts. The role requires 1 year of radiology experience, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS, with state licensing where required.

The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure high-quality images, and support physicians with timely interpretation. The position offers a 13-week duration, 36 hours weekly, with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS required; state licensing when required.
• Excellent patient care and imaging procedures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures; provide reassurance.
• Follow physician orders regarding imaging area.
• Position the patient and adjust equipment correctly.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper protection.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
