Job summary

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Radiology Technician for a 13-week assignment in Lubbock, Texas. You will perform routine and complex X-ray exams for adults and geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center, including portable imaging and fluoroscopy support.

The role requires ARRT(R), BLS, TX license, and Epic/PACS experience. You must be able to float between units and handle fast-paced acute care environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year X-Ray Tech experience.
• ARRT (R), BLS, TX License.
• Epic experience required.
• Must independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams.
• Experience assisting with fluoroscopy procedures.
• Level II Trauma experience preferred.
• Fast-paced acute care experience required.
• Must be able to float between units.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex X-ray examinations for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center.
• Perform portable/bedside imaging, including portable chest and abdomen, as well as imaging in the ED and ICU.
• Perform X-rays across chest, abdomen, upper/lower extremities, spine, pelvis, head, and trauma cases.
• Assist with fluoroscopy studies, including Upper GI, Barium Swallow, Enema Studies, Arthrography, and Myelography.
• Utilize Epic, PACS, and GE equipment while maintaining radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions.
• May image up to 30 patients per day and must demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills.
