Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Vail, Colorado. The Rad Tech will operate diagnostic imaging equipment, ensure accurate images, and assist physicians with interpretation, while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Requirements include ARRT (R), BLS, state licensing as applicable, and at least 1 year of experience. The position features 12-hour rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration with travel benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience.
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification; state licensing as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and handle imaging procedures.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and verify image quality.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Position patients and adjust equipment as directed by orders.
• Maintain patient records and prepare results for physicians.
• Utilize McKesson PACS for image management.
