TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The role involves operating radiology equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs, following safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

The position requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and ARRT-R licensure with BLS. Travel assignments include multiple clinical sites and flexible scheduling with a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• Zero to six months of related experience.
• Working knowledge of DR and/or CR equipment, techniques, and protocols.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team and independently.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and dependable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Capable of wearing lead aprons for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves radiologic orders from and inputs related data into the EMR.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, assist in positioning.
• Explains procedures to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Position patient and adjust equipment to obtain optimal views.
• Operate radiology equipment per protocols under supervision.
• Maintain infection control and safety for patients and staff.
