Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The role requires performing radiographic imaging, patient positioning, and adherence to safety standards across multiple units including ER and OR.

Qualified candidates have a Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT-R certification, BLS, and up-to-date DR/CR experience. Travel duties include night shifts and weekend coverage with extensive patient interaction.

Qualifications

• Zero to six months of related experience.
• Working knowledge of DR/CR equipment, techniques and protocols.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves radiologic orders and inputs data into EMR.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms and assist positioning.
• Explain procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Position patient and adjust equipment for optimum views.
• Operate radiology equipment per protocol under supervision.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintain supplies and report malfunctions.
• Contribute to department goals and participate in mandatory training.
