Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid Radiology Technologist license.
• Adherence to safety policies including ALARA principles is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under the supervision of certified radiologists.
• Assist with patient care and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain current licensure and complete annual mandatory in-services.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to perform and teach radiologic exams

Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA, and TJC standards

Responsible for the safe operation of radiologic equipment

Ability to operate standard office equipment

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate from an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals

SCRQSA Radiographer Certification

ARRT Radiography (R) Certification

BLS certification through the American Heart Association
