Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging views; adjust exposure factors to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation dose.
• Operate radiology equipment, perform quality checks, and document procedures in the patient record.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, verify identity and consent, protect privacy, and adhere to ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely imaging and accurate reporting; assist with procedures as needed.
