• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.

• BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
• At least two years of Mammography experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammography exams with patient comfort and privacy.
• Position and image patients; operate mammography equipment and assist Radiologist during complex exams.
• Produce high-quality images with proper technique, labeling and documentation.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines; educate patients about the exam and next steps.
• Communicate relevant patient information and collaborate with radiology team; escalate issues to senior staff.
• Complete required documentation and support workflow to ensure timely exams.

• Prepare, position, and image patients; operate specialized mammography equipment and assist Radiologist during intricate examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Produce high-quality images, ensure proper technique, labeling, and documentation for interpretation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines; educate patients about the exam and subsequent steps as needed.
• Obtain and communicate relevant patient information; collaborate with the radiology team and escape question or issues to senior staff.
• Complete required documentation and support department workflow to ensure timely exam completion.

Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
• Licenses/Certifications: Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Radiologic Technologist License (required in OR); ARRT Radiography (required); ARRT Mammography (required)
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required)
• Experience: At least two years of recent Mammography/field experience
• Other: Ability to work in a short-term acute care setting and participate in travel assignments
