American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Radiology Technologist II for a 13-week contract in Massachusetts. ARRT-R certification and an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging are required.

The role involves working in a radiology department full-time with a 40-hour week across 10-hour and 5-hour shifts, including weekends. Licensure may be required where applicable; BLS/AHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Imaging required.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• State Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable.
• 1+ years of experience required, 2-3 years preferred.
• BLS certification preferred; AHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
• 40 hours per week schedule consisting of 3 ten-hour and 2 five-hour shifts, including weekends.
• Weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Determines appropriate radiographic technique based on patient anatomy and condition to obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Prepares patients for procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
• Explains procedures to patients with consideration for physical and emotional needs.
• Records digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintains pertinent records.
• Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
• May assist Radiology Technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking.
• Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed.
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.
