Qualifikationen

• Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating/varied shift schedules.

Aufgaben

• Operate diagnostic radiography equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
• Position and instruct patients prior to examinations; adjust equipment and determine appropriate exposure parameters.
• Apply proper shielding and adhere to radiation safety and ALARA principles for every exam.
• Verify patient identity, follow infection control practices, and ensure accurate image labeling and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the care team regarding exam results and any patient concerns.
• Maintain equipment in good working order, assist with quality control procedures, and document procedures and images as required.
