Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Templeton, CA. Start date 09/28/2026 with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a 5x8 day shift. This temporary role offers travel support and housing assistance.

You will operate X-ray equipment, position patients, ensure safety, and maintain PACS documentation while meeting CA licensing and ARRT‑R/BLS requirements. Competitive weekly pay and extension opportunities are available.

Qualifications

CA Radiologic Technologist license required.
ARRT-R certification required; BLS certification required.
Fluoroscopy license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
Position patients and instruct them prior to examinations; adjust exposure parameters to achieve optimal images.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging; explain procedures as needed.
Prepare examination rooms and maintain equipment readiness for imaging.
Document exam information and verify exams in the PACS system; communicate important details to the interpreting physician.
Adhere to imaging safety standards and quality control procedures.
