Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an X-ray Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract in Skokie, IL. Requires 2+ years in Surgery/Ortho/General X-ray, ARRT certification, BLS, and an active license. Epic EMR experience preferred.

Role features 40 hours/week, no weekends or on-call, and potential cross-department float. Local candidates are paid the same rate; travel perks, housing allowance, and reimbursements offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Surgery, Orthopedics, and General X-ray experience.
• ARRT certification required; BLS required.
• Active license and current certifications; pending credentials not accepted.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• 2 professional references from a supervisor/manager within the last year.

Responsibilities

• 13-week contract on day shift, 0730-1600, 40 hours per week.
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.
• May float between Ortho ACC and Radiology Main Department.
• Local candidates paid at the same rate.
• Returning staff must be away 12 months before traveler eligibility.
• RTO for 13-week contracts limited to 7 days.
• Complete and pass an EKG test (≥80%) before submission; on-site test Day 1.
