TotalMed Allied seeks a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Olympia Fields, IL. The role requires ARRT (R) and BLS with 1 year of experience. The job includes 40 hours per week, nights, and a 13-week duration, with the travel pay package and tax-free stipend details to be confirmed.

Responsibilities include imaging procedures, patient positioning, radiation safety, PACS usage, and accurate record keeping. Local licensing requirements apply where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (R) National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Rad Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
• Follow orders from Physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
• Correctly position the patient and adjust the imaging equipment to appropriate position.
• Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by using proper protection precautions.
• Calibrate imaging equipment.
• Prepare results for Physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
