Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Olympia Fields, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and state licensure as needed. You will perform diagnostic imaging, protect patients from radiation, and ensure high-quality images for physician interpretation.

The position runs 40 hours per week with nights shifts and includes a tax-free stipend. Prior travel experience is preferred but not required, and opportunities for continuing education

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (R) certification, and state licensing as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment and ensure image quality for medical interpretation.
• Prepare and care for patients undergoing radiologic testing.
• Follow physician orders for imaging location and procedures.
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain proper images.
• Protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physician review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use PACS for image management.
