Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Alpharetta, GA. The role requires 1 year of Rad Tech experience, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS, with state licensing as needed.

Tasks include patient prep, imaging procedures, equipment calibration, and maintaining records using McKesson PACS. We offer 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a 13-week assignment with travel benefits and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of radiology technologist experience required.
• Must have ARRT (R) national certification and BLS.
• State licensing requirements may apply depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Follow physician orders on imaging areas to be scanned.
• Position patients and adjust imaging equipment correctly.
• Minimize radiation exposure with proper shielding.
• Calibrate imaging equipment and prepare results for physicians.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use the PACS system.
