TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a position in Charleston, South Carolina. Job ID #1439445. Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, tax‑free stipend to be determined.

Job Details

Responsibilities

As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating the fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare patients for procedures, observe them during the procedure, and report abnormal activity.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques for patient and operator exposure to assure that adequate safeguards are maintained.
• Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately.
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R). State‑specific licensing when required.
• Preferred: Vascular Interventional certificate.
• Must have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
